Remodeling industry professionals join the BIA Remodelers to improve business management skills, to network with peers, to perform community service, and to work for the enhancement of industry standards and practices. All members of the BIA Remodlers agree to abide by the following Code of Ethics. |
The BIA Remodelers Code of Ethics
As BIA Remodelers members in good standing, we fully accept the responsibilities and obligations inherent in providing professional remodeling services, and hereby agree to support and abide by the following standards. We pledge to:
- CONDUCT our business operations in a manner that will reflect credit upon our companies, the BIA Remodelers, and the remodeling industry.
- COMPLY both in spirit and letter with rules and regulations prescribed by law and government agencies for the health, safety and welfare of the community.
- DESCRIBE accurately and honestly the price, materials and standards of workmanship used in our jobs.
- USE only materials and products equal to or exceeding the quality of those specified in the contract.
- START the construction process as soon as feasible upon award of the contract and proceed diligently to completion of the project without unnecessary delays.
- COOPERATE with the BIA Remodelers in responding to complaints against our companies or other members.
